Min gamle gode vän Kristoffer flyttar till Kalmar nästa vecka. Det ska bli riktigt kul att kunna umgås lite oftare framöver. I samband med att jag rotade igenom min hårddisk hittade jag nämligen en inspelning som jag och Kristoffer gjorde 1999.
Denna gjordes i studion en fredagkväll när vi hade druckit en del whisky. Det var dock ingen single malt som gällde på den tiden. Det var nog inte ens en blended. Vi drack bourbon om jag inte minns fel. Troligtvis något råttgift i stil med Jack Daniels.
Hur som helst. Vi satt något överförfriskade i studion. Jag visade upp en westernlåt som jag hade skrivit på skoj. Vi tog då den och skrev en passande text och spelade in allt på någon timme. Det mesta var gjort på en tagning eftersom vi inte hade tålmod eller lust att lägga ner någon tid på detta, men jag tycker i efterhand att den blev riktigt kul. Speciellt den lilla effekten när jag skakar till ett shaker-ägg efter meningen om skallerormarna. Bourbon-hostningen innan jag börjar spela fick också bli en perfekt inräkning.
